The CRA and MSTU are busy with many projects geared toward making this a better community. The Bayshore Beautification MSTU is at 90% completion on streetscape improvement engineering for Bayview Drive and Lunar Street. This project will add sidewalks to these residential streets, along with pedestrian-scale decorative lighting and light landscaping.

The Bayshore Beautification MSTU is also wrapping up the conceptual planning of Thomasson Drive/Hamilton Avenue improvements. This project will beautify the Thomasson DR/Hamilton AVE corridor by adding medians on the west side of Thomasson, installing bike lanes on both sides, and curb and gutter. Hamilton Avenue will see a paved shoulder with a relatively rural character.
